Used for welding low-carbon molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steels (e.g., AISI 316/316L), dissimilar welding between carbon steel and stainless steel, and equipment in petrochemical, food processing, pharmaceutical, and marine industries exposed to corrosive environments (acids, chlorides, seawater). Also suitable for welding components requiring excellent intergranular corrosion resistance.
The welding wire is a 19% Cr-12% Ni-2% Mo series ultra-low carbon stainless steel welding wire. The weld metal has excellent general corrosion resistance (especially to acids and chlorides), good high-temperature strength, and resistance to intergranular corrosion. It features stable arc, beautiful weld appearance, low spatter, and is suitable for all-position welding.

1. Shielding gas adopts pure argon or Ar+2% O2, gas flow 18.0–25.0 L/min; take windproof measures when wind speed exceeds 0.5 m/s.
2. Adopt low current and short arc welding, control interpass temperature below 150℃ to prevent grain coarsening and reduce corrosion sensitivity.
3. Remove oil, rust and oxide scale on base metal surface before welding; keep welding wire sealed and dry storage, use up quickly after opening.
4. For dissimilar steel welding, preheating is generally not required, but post-weld slow cooling is recommended to avoid thermal stress.
